While at Mizzou,
I was TA for ECON 1014 (Principles of Micro) each semester.
This has involved leading four discussion sections (about
88 students) each semester, plus grading students’ exams,
homework, and quizzes. Additionally, I held office hours
each week for students to come in and get additional help.
I received very good evaluations from my students each
semester. Below, I have listed some selected comments from
student evaluations along with some statistical information
from them. On the Teaching
Material page, you can
find examples of material I have created and used in my lab
sections.
I was awarded the 2008 Harry Gunnison Brown Graduate
Student Teaching Award for excellent performance in the
classroom and a commitment to undergraduate students.
Between August 2009 and May 2010, I was an adjunct
economics instructor at the Madison, Wisconsin campus of
ITT Technical Institute. I taught principles of
microeconomics, writing my own lesson plans, quizzes and
assignments.
ITT Tech
I was evaluated
in two ways at ITT Tech: student evaluations and in-class
observations by a member of the administration. Below are
PDF copies of both.

responded in fall 2008. All student evaluations are done
anonymously on the last day of class. Unfortunately
evaluations at Mizzou are done on paper, so I do not have
PDF copies.
